DAY 1: ZANZIBAR
On arrival at Zanzibar Airport in the morning, you will be transferred to the Hotel in Stone Town to visit the capital city of the island. You will have the choice to wander through the labyrinth of narrow streets of the Old Town and visit the fish market and the spice market. As optional visit, on request, you can book the “Spice Tour” just a few miles away from town. You will overnight at the Tembo Hotel or similar category.
DAY 2: ZANZIBAR-ARUSHA-LAKE MANYARA
Breakfast at the hotel and departure internal flight from Zanzibar to Arusha – Kilimanjaro. Transfer in Jeep 4x4 and beginning of safari, heading to Lake Manyara. Game Drive in the park. For dinner and overnight you have three different options: LUXURY: Lake Manyara Serena Hotel or Farm House or similar category. CONFORT: Kiboko Camp or Lake Manyara or Jambo or similar category. EASY: Fiji Hotel or Camping at the Jambo or similar category.
DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, departure for Serengeti National Park, passing through Ngoro-Ngoro Conservation Area. The Serengeti National Park is surely the most famous park in Africa, where you can see the majority of wild animals of the African continent. You will spend the whole day driving in the Park, exploring the different natural areas, following the herd of herbivorous, depending on the season. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Park: LUXURY: Serengeti Sopa Lodge or Serena Hotel. CONFORT: Ikoma Bush Camp or Seronera Wildlife Lodge or similar category. EASY: Serengeti Camping or similar category in tent.
DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
You will have another day to explore the Serengeti National Park so huge, as far as the eye can see.
Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Park: LUXURY: Serengeti Sopa Lodge or Serena Hotel. CONFORT: Ikoma Camp or Seronera Wildlife Lodge or similar category. EASY: Serengeti Camping or similar category in tent.
DAY 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Wake up at dawn and breakfast in the bush. Game Drive crossing the Serengeti Park and visit to the archaeological site of Olduvai Gorge. We will head to Ngoro-Ngoro Crater, reach the site at dinner and overnight. LUXURY: Ngoro-Ngoro Serena Lodge or Ngoro-Ngoro Sopa Lodge. CONFORT: Ngoro-Ngoro Wildlife Lodge or similar category. EASY: Simba Camp, camping in the Park.
DAY 6: NGORO-NGORO
Ngoro-Ngoro Conservation Area (Ngoro-Ngoro Crater). Wake up in the early morning and full day visit to the crater area. It is probably the most interesting and rich in wildlife area in Western Africa: a rare, unique landscape. To get inside the crater is like to be part of a documentary film set in a happy age where nature was the only ruler. It is difficult to put down in words the feelings you get while going down the crater and to describe the magical atmosphere inside, a green valley swarming with life and peace. In the afternoon we will go up the ridge of the crater and go back to: LUXURY: Ngoro-Ngoro Serena Lodge or Ngoro-Ngoro Sopa Lodge. CONFORT: Ngoro-Ngoro Wildlife Lodge or similar category. EASY: Simba Camp, camping in the Park.
DAY 7: TARANGIRE PARK
Wake up in the early morning and departure for Tarangire Park, passing through Mto wa mbu market. Tarangire Park is where you can find the majority of elephants in all North Tanzania parks. We will spend the afternoon inside the Park. Dinner and overnight: LUXURY: Tarangire Sopa Lodge. CONFORT: Tarangire Safari Lodge. EASY: not available.
DAY 8: TARANGIRE-ARUSHA-ZANZIBAR
We will go out from the Park at lunchtime (depending on the flight) and transfer to Arusha where we will fly to Zanzibar. Our Staff will meet you at the airport and transfer to the Hotel for the continuation of your holiday according to schedule.
